The victim in this case was a landlord and collected rent on a regular basis. On March 20, 2001, William Elliott collected rent with his wife and returned to their home in the 5000 block of Airport Road in Salisbury, Wicomico County, MD. As William Elliott pulled into the garage at their home, Mrs. Eilliott was accosted and rental money was stolen. When Mr. Elliott got out of his vehicle, he was shot and killed. Two individuals in a green pick up truck were seen in the area at the time. It is unknown if these two individuals are related to this crime.
