On January 7, 1989, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a relative of Beatrice Wessells found her deceased in the bedroom of her residence in Pocomoke, Worcester County, MD. Wessells had apparent stab wounds on her body. There was a witness who lived on Wessells' property at the time, however no arrest was made in the case.
