Westminster - Barrack G

Barrack Mission

The Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack is one of Maryland's largest and busiest state police installations.  With a compliment of over forty sworn troopers and ten civilian staff, the personnel at the Westminster Barrack strive each day to provide those who live, work, or visit Carroll County with the finest law enforcement services anywhere.  The sworn and civilian staff assigned to the Westminster Barrack serve with pride through living the Department's Core Values of Integrity, Fairness and Service.

Members of the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack are actively involved in the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigation Center, and the Carroll County Drug Task Force.  The Maryland State Police also provides five troopers to the Mt. Airy Resident Trooper Program.

Those assigned to the Westminster Barrack work each day to decrease serious and fatal motor vehicle collisions, reduce crime, and deter terrorist attacks.  Through targeted enforcement, community outreach and special initiatives, the Maryland State Police are making a difference in the community.
