Sarah M. Faulkner and her husband Carvel Faulkner owned a trash removal service in the Howard County area. The Faulkner's maintained an office for the business in their home in the 7000 block of Montgomery Road in Howard County, MD. On April 25, 1979 at approximately 2:00 p.m.an employee stopped by the Faulkner's residence and found the couple murdered in their bedroom. Items were missing from the residence and it is believed robbery was the motive for the murders.
