Operational Services Branch

The Operational Services Branch is comprised of the Crime Scene Section and the Forensic Support Services Section. It is managed by the Assistant Commander.

Crime Scene Section (CSS):

The Crime Scene Section (CSS) is divided into three regions, Western, Eastern, and Central. The section is staffed by three Crime Scene Technician Supervisors and sixteen Crime Scene Technicians.

Central Region Unit:

This unit is comprised of one Crime Scene Technician Supervisor and five Crime Scene Technicians.

Eastern Region Unit:

This unit is comprised of one Crime Scene Technician Supervisor and five Crime Scene Technicians.

Western Region Unit:

This unit is comprised of one Crime Scene Technician Supervisor and six Crime Scene Technicians.

Forensic Support Services Section (FSSS):

The Forensic Support Services Section is comprised of four units - Administrative Support Unit, Central Receiving Unit, Computer Support Unit, and Photography Unit. The section is staffed by 12 employees.

Administrative Support Unit:

The Administrative Support Unit is supervised by one Administrative Specialist III and is staffed by one Administrative Specialist III, one Office Secretary II, and one Research Statistician IV.

Central Receiving Unit:

The Central Receiving Unit is supervised by one Administrative Officer and is staffed by three Inventory Control Specialists.

Computer Support Unit:

The IT Support Unit is staffed by two IT Quality Assurance Specialists and one Computer Network Specialist II.

Photography Unit:

The Photography Unit is supervised by one Forensic Photographer Supervisor and staffed by one Forensic Photographer.
