On November 22, 1970 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Robert Kay Cole became involved in an argument with his wife Shirley Cole at the residence located in the 700 block of Susquehanna Avenue in Perryville, Cecil County, MD. Both Robert and Shirley Cole went to the upstairs of the residence where Robert Cole shot Shirley Cole causing her death. Robert Cole fled the area and has never been apprehended. Robert Cole was alleged to have associates in North Carolina and West Virginia at the time.
