On 5/3/1971 the 1966 Plymouth owned by the victim was located on the bank of the South River about two miles from South Haven Road in Anne Arundel County, MD. Blood was observed in the area of the trunk. The body of Lonnie Ennis was subsequently located in the trunk. The death appeared to be from blunt force trauma. Allegedly, Lonnie Ennis had left a bar on 5-1-1971 in the company of an unidentified man and woman.
