Aleene Replane left her home to go to work, but never arrived there. Aleene's vehicle was located with the door open near her residence. Aleene was reported missing by her husband. On January 21, 1963 Aleene's fully clothed body was recovered on the side of College Avenue in Ellicott City, Howard County, MD. Due to the circumstances of the case, it was investigated as a homicide.
