On June 19, 1981 at 2:55 a.m. the body of Billy Dement was found in the traveled portion of MD Route 4 south of Brick House Road in Dunkirk, Calvert County, MD. The case was initially investigated as a pedestrian traffic accident. Further investigation revealed Billy's body had been placed in the roadway to cover up a homicide.
