On 9/9/1989 at 12:30 a.m., the body of Colleen West was recovered next to a swamp on the side of Bear Swamp Road approximately two miles off of Johnson Road in Worcester County, Maryland. West's body was discovered by individuals riding dirt bikes. A vehicle belonging to Colleen West was also recovered at the location of her body. It was alleged that Colleen West was involved in the illegal drug trade.
