On 12/12/1970 around noon Raymond Martin entered a tavern located at the northeast corner of Md Route 925 and Action Lane in Waldorf, Charles County, MD. Martin struck up a conversation with four patrons described below and offered to buy them drinks. Only one male accepted the offer. The four patrons left the tavern with Raymond Martin leaving only seconds behind them. A shot was heard and other patrons responded to find Raymond Martin deceased from a gunshot wound.
Patron #1 described as a white male, late twenties, 5'7", with dark hair and complexion
Patron #2 described as a white male, late twenties, 6'00, 180 lbs., clean shaven with a light complexion
Patron #3 described as a white female, approximately 25 years old, 5'5", 135 lbs., with blonde hair
Patron #4 described as a white female, approximately 27 years old, 5'6", 115 lbs., with dark hair.
