Baltimore Man Arrested Armed With Handgun on Aberdeen Proving Ground Following Armed Road Rage Investigation

(EDGEWOOD, MD) – Maryland State Police charged a Baltimore man in connection with an alleged armed road rage incident which occurred on I-95 in Baltimore County on Friday morning. 

The accused is identified as Adam Kuper, 25, of Baltimore, Maryland. He is charged with assault first degree, assault second degree, firearm use in commission of a felony, and other related charges. 

At approximately 9:41 a.m. yesterday, troopers from the Maryland State Police JFK Highway Barrack responded to a reported firearm brandishing during a road rage incident on northbound I-95 near mile marker 72 in Baltimore County. The preliminary investigation indicates that during an alleged road rage incident, the operator of a white Mazda CX-5, later identified as Kuper, pointed a firearm at the victim before fleeing into Harford County. No injuries were reported. 

Troopers from the Maryland State Police JFK Highway Barrack with the assistance of investigators from the Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crimes Initiative and officers from the Aberdeen Proving Ground Police Department located Kuper on Aberdeen Proving Ground property. Kuper was found in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun. Kuper was taken into custody without incident by the Aberdeen Proving Ground Police and released to the custody of the Maryland State Police.
