Investigation revealed Victor Bishop was at the Grove Condominiums located at 6209 Edgewood Road in Edgewood, Harford County, MD when he became involved in an argument with William Dominic Baker. Bishop allegedly obtained a handgun and went looking for Baker. It was alleged that Baker ambushed Bishop on the lawn area of The Grove Condominium complex in Edgewood. Baker allegedly shot Bishop.
