Drivewyze PreClear Program

The Maryland State Police participates in the Drivewyze PreClear weigh station bypass program.

Eligible commercial carriers and owner-operators enrolled in the program may be allowed to bypass certain open weigh stations and inspection sites based on safety scores and Maryland program requirements.

Drivewyze uses GPS and cellular technology instead of transponders and works with many Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), tablets, smartphones, and other in-cab devices.
