​Congratulations to the College of Southern Maryland and Towson University students recognized for their winning productions in the 2018-19 PSA contest. Maryland’s Vehicle Theft Prevention Council, in partnership with MSP and the Maryland/DC Anti Car Theft Committee, presented $7350 in scholarship money during the eighth annual radio and television PSA competition. PSA's in both the radio and television categories, were required to focus on new trends in auto theft. Award recipients produced :15 and :30 spots for broadcast on WBAL 1090 and 98 Rock.

Students at the College Of Southern Maryland bring home $4800 in prize money for their work on audio and video PSA's  to raise awareness about vehicle theft prevention in Maryland.


Towson University Audio Winners:

TU PSA 2019 winners.jpg

Towson University students in the Electronic, Media and Film Department walked away with $2550 in  prize money for their work in producing audio PSA's to drive home the important message to Maryland citizens about preventing vehicle theft.
