Public Service Announcement Contest

The Maryland Vehicle Theft Prevention Council, in collaboration with the Maryland State Police and the Maryland/DC Anti Car Theft Committee, hosts an annual Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest. This initiative invites students from Maryland's colleges and universities to create innovative video and audio PSAs aimed at raising awareness about vehicle theft and related crimes prevention. The contest not only allows students to apply their creative skills to real-world issues but also contributes to enhancing public knowledge on safeguarding vehicles. Winning entries are featured on the Maryland State Police website, social media platforms and utilized in statewide public awareness campaigns.

Apply through the Maryland Department of State Police. Contact the Office of Media Communications at msp.media@maryland.gov.
