Submit a Laboratory Tour/Off-Site Outreach request form for tours
Elementary and middle school students cannot tour the lab
The Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division (FSD) offers lab tours and off-site outreach presentations to help students and organizations learn about forensic science.
Submit your request using the Laboratory Tour/Off-Site Outreach Request Form. Requests sent in other ways will not be accepted.
Your request must include:
Tours generally take about two hours and are typically scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm. The first 30 to 60 minutes is spent in the classroom watching an informational presentation followed by a Q & A session.
Participants will then be taken on a guided tour of the facility. For security and safety purposes, tour participants will not be allowed into any laboratories, but will be able to view laboratories from the hallways.
Visitors are expected to dress professionally in business casual attire or adhere to their school's dress code. Disruptive behavior may result in being asked to leave.
