Maryland Vehicle Theft Prevention Council PSA Contest
The Maryland Vehicle Theft Prevention Council (MVTPC), along with the Maryland Department of State Police (MDSP) and the Maryland/DC Anti Car Theft Committee, hosts an annual Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest for college students.
The contest invites students from Maryland colleges and universities to create short video or audio PSAs that help educate the public about preventing vehicle theft and related crimes.
Students who participate can:
- Use their creativity to address real-world safety issues
- Gain hands-on experience in media and public communication
- Help raise awareness across the state
Winning PSAs are shared on the Maryland State Police website and social media and may be used in statewide public awareness campaigns.
